What is PutSpot?
PutSpot is a local-first mobile application for iPhone and Android that helps you organize, catalog, and instantly find your household items, storage bins, moving boxes, and important documents.
Do I need to create an account or provide an email?
No. PutSpot requires zero account creation, zero email registration, and zero passwords. You install the app and begin saving items immediately.
Does PutSpot work completely offline without an internet connection?
Yes. All core organization, search, photo viewing, and QR scanning features function 100% offline. An internet connection is only needed if you choose to download the app or use optional personal cloud backup.
How do PutSpot QR labels work?
When you print a label for a box or storage bin, PutSpot embeds an anonymous identifier. Scanning with your phone opens PutSpot and retrieves item details directly from your on-device storage. The QR code contains no personal data.
